Alif Ba (Student Troupe)

 

Raksanna’s dance program provides both recreational and performance tracks for her students.  Dancers who prefer the more recreational and fitness related aspects of Belly Dance enjoy a full curriculum with levels 1-4 and all aspects of belly dance including technique, style, history and culture. Dancers interested in performing have two options: Student Troupe, Alif Ba, or the professional troupe, Desert Flames.

 Alif Ba was established to provide interested students additional practice and performance opportunities.  Troupe members receive the following benefits:Will be updated soon!!

• improved technique,
• enhanced stage presence and facial expressions, 
• skills on how to dance with a troupe, stay in their space, change spaces with other dancers (staging),
• the satisfaction of really nailing a dance in performance,
• sisterhood, friendship and working with a team of fun, exciting and amazing women!

 The troupe performs at all of Raksanna’s student haflas. In addition, Troupe Alif Ba has additional performances at fundraisers, festivals and other shows as opportunities arise.
