Get your shimmy on with Raksanna and her faculty!

Our “home base” is  the beautiful Rhythmax Dance studio, 3020 Reflection Drive, Naperville IL 60564. Rhythmax is located at the south west corner of 95th Street and Rt 59 (just east of Nequa Valley High School), across from the movie theater, next door to the Wendy’s and in the strip mall with the barber shop and the dentist office.

We also proudly offer classes at several outreach locations.

Class Session Information

Classes are 6 weeks in length:

  • Winter 2012 Session 1: Jan 8 to Feb 18
  • Spring 2012 Session 1: Feb 19 to March 31
  • Spring 2012 Session 2: April 1 to May 12

You can join a class at any time, but please know that joining a class in the middle of a session means that the rest of the class will be ahead.

Sunday
- 12:30-1:30 pm – Beginner with Jodie at Rhythmax Dance Studio (Click to enroll)
- 1:30-2:30 pm – Intermediate with Ruth at Rhythmax Dance Studio (Click to enroll)
- 2:30-4:30 pm – Advanced/Professional  with Raksanna at Rhythmax Dance Studio (Click to enroll)
   * This class dedicated exclusively to Raksanna’s Near East Dance Ensemble practice/rehearsals.

Monday
- 7:00 – 9:00 pm – Private lessons available in Raksanna’s beautiful home studio

Tuesday
- 7:00 – 9:00 pm – Private lessons available in Raksanna’s beautiful home studio

Wednesday
- 7:00-8:00 pm – Beginner with Jodie – Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove Campus, Rt 47 at Waubonsee Drive, Sugar Grove, 630.466.5757

Thursday
- 6:00-7:00 pm – Beginner with Raksanna at Rhythmax Dance Studio (Click to enroll)

Friday
- 7:30-9:30 pm – Raksanna’s Near East Dance Company practice/rehearsal at Rhythmax Dance Studio
* The Dance Company is by invitation only.

Saturday
- 10:00 – 10:55 am – Beginner with Jodie – Woodridge Park District, 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge, IL 60517, 630.353.3345
- 11:00 – 11:55 am – Beginning Island Dance (Hula, Tahitian, Polynesian) with Jodie – Woodridge Park District, 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge, IL 60517, 630.353.3345

Beginner classes are open to all dancers. Intermediate classes require the completion of one session of beginning veils and one session of beginning cymbals prior to registering for Intermediate levels (unless approval from Raksanna has been obtained). Entrance to Advanced/Professional class is done via invitation, instructor permission and successful completion of a comprehensive audition and technique exam.

Beginner  & Intermediate Class (One hour classes):

- Drop in fee – $20 per class (please note: 15  minutes of observation is free; however, the drop in rate of $20 is applied for any observation or participation after 15 minutes and must be paid in advance)

Advanced / Professional (2 hours)

- Online registration – $150 (via Paypal) Call 630.689.3611 with any questions.

- There is no drop in option available for this level.

Near East Dance Company (Monthly Membership Fee)
